    Unlike traditional newborn photography with naked babies and fancy studios, in-home newborn photography emphasizes your unique story. These sessions happen in the very space you are already using to love and care for your baby. We can capture you and your baby in the very rocking chair you use daily. Or document the crib and handmade baby quilt to help you remember the small details forever.

  • Convenient for you and your new baby.

    You just had a baby. You might still be recovering from the delivery and have one, singular purpose;to stay home and learn to care for your sweet newborn. I come to you with everything we need (swaddles, extra bows, a bassinet etc.) You don’t even have to clean if you don’t want to! The goal is to capture the authentic now, and we can always hide any clutter we don’t want in the photos after I arrive! The goal here is to make this as easy as possible.

  • Involves the entire family.

    Inviting a new baby into your home is an adjustment for the entire family, so it makes sense to include the entire family in the session. We will capture your toddler loving on their new sibling, and tender moments with mom and dad. We might document a little chaos and will certainly capture a lot of love, all within the walls of your own home.

You want sweet photos of your newborn but doing a session in your home feels more overwhelming? Bringing your newborn to my Motherhood Mini’s is a great option for you! These sessions are quick and easy and you’ll walk away with lifestyle images without the stress of inviting me into your home.

 FAQs

  • I usually recommend anytime within the first three weeks of the babies birth.

  • The biggest thing I recommend is to feed your baby right before I arrive. Typically if baby is full when I arrive, they’re ready to fall asleep for their session.

  • Usually around one hour, but depending on various circumstances our session might be 1.5 or 2 hours long.

  • $325 + tax

  • If there are toddlers present, we typically start by photographing the siblings with thee new baby and the entire family. Then we focus on photos of baby with dad, and end with baby and mom. This order is very fluid depending on each family.

  • I will bring various neutral swaddles and bows to wrap your baby in, so don’t worry about picking and outfit for them.

    If you happen to have a cute outfit you’d like to photograph your baby wearing, great! I usually recommend neutral color sand patterns.

  • This is totally up to you and I usually say “something you feel comfortable and beautiful in!”

    Our bodies are changing so much postpartum, a dress often feels the most flattering and comfortable postpartum for me. Neutral lounge sets are also fun and cozy.
